About

Meet Anke [ˈaŋkə]
My professional background has been in business consulting, process improvement and project management for corporate companies. Then our children added another layer of joy as well as new complexity to my life. After having juggled family life and a busy career for a decade it was time to stop and take a step back.

We took a year off and headed to Europe in order to learn from one of the most successful life and leadership coaches: Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling.
It was a time of intensive, daily coaching and training. The best thing was I could test and apply everything I learned within my own family right there and then. It wasn't a walk in the park, but an exceptional opportunity that led to an unexpected 180 degree turn of our life:
From the unsustainable "busy-ness" of modern-day life, with all its stress, tension, constant lack of time and our children often getting into fights and demanding attention, we turned it around to true connection, peace, harmony and joy - and time for what is truly important to us.

The deep insights I've gained as a woman and parent, the many tools and techniques I've learned and applied, and the incredible success I have since experienced for myself and with my family are what I love passing on to other parents and caregivers.

I've seen so many families yearn for more calm, for harmony in the family, for siblings who are best friends and playmates, for deep connection, respect, dignity and independence for each member of the family, and for finding time for the things that matter. I now know that it can be achieved - in a peaceful, inspiring and empowering way!

What I do
It's my vision to help restore balance, dignity, harmony, independence, true connection, more energy and joy into the busy lives of parents/caregivers and their families.
FamilyFlow is all about helping you experience more flow within your own life - as well as your family life.
In the family context, "flow" means that both adults and children live their lives with ease, joy and in harmony. That they feel peaceful, respected, independent, understood, trusted, empowered and motivated. That each individual experiences dignity, a sense of true belonging, fulfilment and deep inner joy.

Having learned, applied and experienced the profoundly transformational power of inner balance, conscious self-observation and authentic leadership, I know that we can all realise true harmony and happiness in our own life, and with our partner and children.

My approach is pragmatic, realistic and always tailored to your specific questions and life situation.

Acknowledgement of Country
I was born and grew up in Germany, and have lived in France, the U.S. and Denmark. I call Australia my home since 2006. For 15 years my family and I lived in Perth, on Whadjuk Nyoongar (Perth land).
In 2020 we moved to Wooditchup (Margaret River) on Wadandi Boodja (Saltwater People’s Country).
I feel connected to Country when I listen to the sounds of nature with a cup of tea in my hand; when I hear the Kookaburra and the Black Cockatoos call; when I ride through the bush on my horse or walk in the forest with our dogs; and when we sit on the beach and swim in the ocean.
I deeply acknowledge the Wadandi people who have been living on and caring for this land we live, work and play on for thousands of years. I pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
